1950 Ford Custom 2-door Sedan
Fabrication of replacement body parts is done in 18-ga steel and welded in place. Body filler is kept to a thickness less than 1/4" - mostly around 1/8" or less. The original body trim mounting holes are backed with fiber glass and may be drilled out. Body is finished to acrylic sealer and hand-sanded with 3000g wet/dry paper. The front fenders are not bolted down in these pictures. The undercarriage is sandblasted and painted black. The floor is repaired, blasted and painted red oxide to the present status. Click the following link for detailed photos showing the restoration process. This project-car is a re-fabricated unit, and not just a "mud bucket" with wheels.
The price includes body, existing trim, and interior with seats that appear to have been covered since new. The original flat head V-8 (disassembled) and transmission are out of the car and cost extra . There are some accessories such as spotlights, new old stock seat covers and additional original body and mechanical parts that are negotiable.
The engine and transmission are extra at $700.00, firm.
